Dreams are fleeting and illusory, yet occasionally they bleed into daily life like when you find yourself in the green room interviewing one of the world’s finest songwriters. This happened last week when we headed backstage, with our pals Show Stream TV, to interview Laura Stevenson.
Ahead of her latest album ‘The Big Freeze,’ Stevenson had released four albums of incredible quality, all of them incredibly different from one another. Yet with ‘The Big Freeze’ she’s created the finest and most personal album of her career. Brutally honest, ‘The Big Freeze’ contains admissions of self-harm, reflections on childhood and feelings of isolation from loved ones on the other side of the world.
